Actually, no debate.
Instead, two evenings,a Tuesday and a Wednesday, per subject, where each where the candidate gets to devote one hour on each of the important subjects of our time Economy, foreign policy, domestic policy, and wrap up. who goes first is alternated.
Four hours of prime time each over four weeks. Brochures or booklets available.
Speech available both in vid and written form.
No debate, no drama, just lay out each plan.

An easier, shorter list would be “who should be a presidential debate moderator”?
I agree. The Moderators should be as anonymous as possible.

Bill Hemmer and Martha MacCallum should be moderators. They did a good job with the republican JV debates.

I concur that these things are true. I also believe this election is our last chance to save the country. It seems to me millions of folks who stayed out of the process for years are paying attention now because they sense it as well. If the election is close I fear the RATS will steal it. But if the difference is several million votes in Trump’s favor they aren’t going to be able to cheat through it.
I pray we all do our best to see our nominee elected.

A agree,I just wish I could be optimistic but I have watched the process for years and with lawyers being the brains and backbone behind the Democrats I just cant force myself to be that optimistic.
I say time and time again on here and I know people think I am over board but I have no doubts the Democrat Party in America is evil. I watched the majority at their convention in 2012 boo the name of God. I have watched huge numbers boo the military and the police. They use all three then sell them out like they have the Black Population and folks appear to by into it.
The Republicans are not much better but I honestly think Trump is a danger to them and the political system of the Democrats and Republicans.
People need to realize the Presidency in America is a Fraternity and only certain people are welcome that is why it is almost like the Wizard of Oz. Obama is the most anti American ever in the White House and he is there for one reason only the Democrats control him and he is black. I suppose that is two reasons.

Seriously, if Shepard Smith was a moderator would ANYONE watch the debate? No network could be that stupid.
He’s only on Fox in the dead of the afternoon when nobody is watching. Then when there’s a hurricane or flood or something, they send him - probably hoping he’ll get washed away.
He must have some kind of contract where they can’t fire him or he’ll sue them for anti gay man discrimination.
Whenever I hear on FR about some obnoxious thing he’s said I wonder: how did they know he said that? How could they stand to watch him long enough for a whole sentence? I get creepy spidey sense when he’s about to appear, quickly avert my eyes, hit mute and then ‘hyper space’ (where you enter any random numbers to change the channel to who cares what). I always assumed everyone did that.

Nobody who works in any capacity for NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, Fox, CNN, Washington Post, New York Times, LA Times, etc.
Pick some names at random from the Wyoming County, WV phone book.
And he can just yell “Get the hell off my stage!” How many people would you like to say that to?
Any human being should not be a moderator.
Each side should provide a list of questions for the other.
Feed them into a robot with no agenda and biases, and have the robot ask the questions of the candidates.
