that’s how I saw it but the judges saw it for Connor. No way Diaz drops t 155 and beats him.
Yeah, I think if it was close they were going to give it to Conor.

I don’t see Diaz dropping to 155 for the rubber match.
I can’t see the rubber match at 155. I don’t think Connor does himself any favors at 170 either.
I think Connor needs to get back to 145 and be done with it.
Conor would probably thank Diaz for the 5rd test. It will help him later.
I hate draws, to score it a draw you need to make one of the rounds a draw or give a 10-8. I don’t know about that. One judge had Round 3 a 10-8 for Diaz, reasonable but questionable.

Round 2 was Conor early, Diaz went down I think, but then Nate came on, gotta give it to Conor, all 3 judges did
Round 3 for Diaz

So gun to my head without rewatching it, I say 48-47 Conor.
But I hate the round by round scoring system, just looking at the fight as a whole it’s very hard to pick a winner so I wouldn’t have minded a dreaded draw.
Now what’s next for Conor? Either defend that damn belt already or vacate it.
It sounds like he wants to go to 155. He certainly doesn’t need another fight with Diaz, at least not yet.
The problem is the rounds.
No more 5min rounds. 3 ten minute rounds. I promise there will be more finishes and less dec.
I agree on draws. Sometimes, no one should lose. Diaz was going to lose anything close by trilogy design. Now that you mention it, I wouldn’t mind tiered rounds. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. 1. 1. 1 to infinity.
