How old are you?

A large number of songs from 1970 are still bar jukebox oldies favorites. Raindrops, Venus, Let It Be, American Woman, American Pie, My Sweet Lord...

“Time in a Bottle” Jim Croce. Still makes me cry. Had it played at my wedding in 1975 - didn’t know that life was so short then. More true today than then :-)

Mouth & MacNeal - How do you do (1972)

Why? It’s goofy and fun.

Europe in the 70s fascinates me.

I got to see Tim Buckley In Houston (1973 I think), and Sweet Surrender was part of the set.
A smaller but pricey venue called La Bastille.

Marty Robbins — El Paso — 1971
Great voice and range.

I think El Paso by Marty Robbins was a hit in 1960. Great song though.

I was dating a girl in 1970 whose favorite song was “Bridge Over Troubled Waters”. I liked it too tho it wasn’t my favorite.

I associate that song with one of the dumbest things I ever did-and the consequences of it-in my youth-it still makes me grit my teeth...

John Denver - Back Home Again. Love the lyrics.

It's the sweetest thing I know of, just spending time with you
It's the little things that make a house a home.
Like a fire softly burning and supper on the stove.
And the light in your eyes that makes me warm.
