Popular 'Obamacare' provision gives young adults coverage

Mina Schultz figured she’d be OK without health insurance during the months between finishing graduate school and joining the Peace Corps. But a few weeks after graduation, she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a bone cancer more common in children. […]

Her father, Jack Schultz, a professor at the University of Missouri, recalls a scramble not only to deal with his daughter’s health, but also to pay for it. He said it was only after her diagnosis that he learned she could be covered on his policy under a provision of President Barack Obama’s health insurance law that allows young adults to be on their parents’ health plans until they turn 26. […]

Schultz, now 30, works in Fairmont, West Virginia, in the health industry. Her job includes helping people enroll for coverage.

What a propaganda piece. This kind of coverage was available before Zerocare, IINM; but the reasoning here is “because of a few catastrophic cases (cited by biased sources), therefore keep the whole thing”.

Yes, it was - coverage until 26 was around long before Obamacare - as were many of its benefits - they just report them as being something new. And even if they weren’t, it doesn’t change the fact the vast majority of it is destructive - all of the little things like this we could keep in exchange for repealing the other 95% of it...but they’d never agree to it - because that isn’t what it was ever about.

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy.

The plural of “anecdote” is “evidence”. This again. Notice how there has been this hiatus in this appraoch over the past say 1.5 years?

Go ahead, believe the AP.

See this post too, featuring an AP story on in-person voter fraud. It mentions Don Rehill as a contributor, who is AP’s “Director of Election Tabulations and Research”—essentially a propaganda director with direct ties to the administration.

He said it was only after her diagnosis that he learned she could be covered on his policy under a provision of President Barack Obama’s health insurance

After she coughs up the $6K deductible ... which is much higher than the deductible I had on my previous insurance that got cancelled the day after Douchecare came into being.

Do college professors get any kind of exemptions? Mina’s dad is one.

I've recently begun playing a little mental game while surfing the web for news headlines. Let's call it "guess the source."

When I see a news header even modestly reflecting normal political thought, it invariably comes up "Breitbart", "Newsmax", or, occasionally a foreign newspaper.

Conversely, it seems without exception, liberal puff pieces like this one are traced to AP, CBS, NBC and other so-called "mainstream media" sources.

Her father, Jack Schultz, a professor at the University of Missouri,

Proving how uninformed your average Professor can be.

If you want to buy health insurance for your child, there actually is no age limit. The difference is that it costs twice as much now with Obamacare. And the policies provide less coverage.

And here it is, another one.

Now we should expect a nice little raft of anecdotal stories as to the glories of 0bamacare as it spirals down the toilet.

Great, 738 people benefitted, millions lost their HC altogether, anyone who still has reasonable HC is paying gobs more for it, and the success stories are almost all Medicare shove-ins.

When I took a leave of absence and returned to college years ago, I figured I’d be OK without health insurance and I was.

I’m sure the millions of young folks who are now mandated to purchase worthless coverage or face fines are very grateful.

What was once known as catastrophic coverage and sold at a reasonable rate has become standard coverage and is sold at exorbitant rates. Now almost everyone has been blessed with paying more for less coverage and outrageous deductibles. Thanks, Obama!

What a diaper load of Hillary Clinton excrement. Healthy young adults positively hate paying Obomination’s overtly expensive Obama death-care premiums!

Yes, propaganda. Us stupid taxpayers even PAY for this, you all realize. A $2 BILLION provision of the Obamacare law was money for the MEDIA to say nice things about Obamacare!!! YES!! IT IS TRUE!!
