Dang Memphis is a cesspool. My son lives across the river in Ar.
Drove through Memphis last year.
Had some of the most absolutely dirty roadside shoulders I’ve seen anywhere in the world.
Stuff looks like it piles up for decades and never is cleaned up.
It is like when a Rat gets busted. When you don’t see party affiliation you know it is Rat. When a GOPe gets busted his party affiliation is all caps in the headline.
When a bizarre violent crime is perpetrated and no mention of name is given you KNOW what that means.

It’s not much better, nor is Miss. You have to get at least 50 miles away from Memphis in any direction to be safer.
I live in Atoka in Tipton County, and we are getting an up tick in crime, we’ve had 4 murders since Jan. When we use to go years with out one. And those were domestic cases. These are home break in’s now.
Dogs would set up a fuss and the shot gun is close by, as is the 9mm and my carry piece a Taurus Ultra Lite 38 revolver. I’m old, small but I can use any of them. My boys know not to try and come in with out hollering out who they are. Gun safe is available when needed, we have small great grands to young to be exposed to real guns yet.
