But the double standard in the media is stark. Chrissy Matthews and other lib media said GOP was "exploiting" Patricia Smith but they don't criticize the Democrats for "exploiting" Khan.

I think he should have done some research on Khan before speaking. If Trump had known about Khan's connections to the Clinton Foundation and about how Khan benefits off increased Muslim immigration, rather than attacking the "weak" hijabi wife, he wouldn't look like such a bully. That was Savage's point in a nutshell.
