Well i watched “Edge of Tomorrow” last night, don’t believe that is a sleeper but pretty damn entertaining.
Donnie Darko maybe?

Unfortunately, I am limited to watching movies on netflix or buying them outright, as the new movies are of low-brow quality and low culture.

Really enjoyed Brooklyn as well. It was beautifully filmed.

I saw “Jason Bourne.” Tedious in the extreme. Despite its giant and noisy car chases, the franchise has run out of gas.

That movie was deeply, DEEPLY disturbing. You know the scene I’m talking about ...

The Sy Fy channel’s version of Dune and Children of Dune are very good.

I agree with “The Dish” being decent. The golf practice on the dish was funny.

It’s far older, but HOPSCOTCH with Walter Matthau and Glenda Jackson is one of those wonderful movies that leaves you smiling as you leave the theatre.

For those whose attention span exceeds that of a gnat, dial up (on YouTube) the original BBS miniseries of John Le Carre’s “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy”, starring Alec Guinness.

Great stuff.

Nearing 20 years, I’d say “October Sky”.

Surrogates with Bruce willis is a good flick to see what the upcoming virtual reality society is gonna be like.
again, not exactly a “sleeper”.

Primer. Maybe the most interesting -- and difficult -- time travel movie ever made.

Waking Ned Devine. Yes! Great movie, but I have netflix and it's not available. I rented it when it first came out and I may have to purchase it, as I have a good selection of dvds.

There was never a bad movie with Matthau in it.

“Out to Sea” was another one, that he did with Jack Lemmon.
