“An explosion outside a bar in the southern German city of Ansbach, Bavaria, has left at least one person dead and 12 others injured. A large-scale investigation has been launched into what is believed to have been a “deliberate” act.
The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees will reveal why the suspect’s asylum application had previously been rejected later in the day Herrmann noted that those who are “seeking protection in Germany, must show full respect for the German legal system and the German population.”
“The minister added that the attack demonstrated the need “to strengthen controls on those we have living in our country”.
Authorities announced that investigators found the offender’s cell phone and it is now being examined by specialists. The investigation of the crime scene will still take a few days, Nuremberg police chief, Roman Fertinger, said at the conference.
The Bavarian interior minister noted that the contents of the backpack, in which the explosives had been carried, would have been sufficient to kill and injure many more people, had the explosion happened in heavily populated area.
“We don’t know if this man planned on suicide or if he had the intention of killing others,” Bavarian interior minister Joachim Herrmann said.
You really don’t? Even though he was carrying explosives that would have been sufficient to kill and injure many more people?
So far, the investigation has found no evidence of an attempted political assassination or extremism, but such a possibility cannot be ruled out. The type of explosives detonated has not yet been established, but Hermann said that “metal parts” were apparently used in the improvised device…

So I guess now things like bombs, careening airliners into buildings, plowing trucks through massive crowds aren’t “evidence of extremism” in and of themselves anymore. It takes a FaceBook, Twitter and godknowswhatelse internet universe to determine that.
By that logic, some tyrant pushing the Armageddon Button isn’t “extremist” by itself.

Germany is living in denial. Merkel is an incompetent fool. Some in Europe are finally waking up to reality, but looks like Germany will be the last to do so. Ignoring and excusing away the obvious is going to get more people killed.
For Islam, this is technically correct; instead of “extremist”, this is actually de rigueur, i.e. normal.
There are dumb people all over the world. There are dumb people in America. There are dumb people in China. There are dumb people in Africa.
But to go full retard, you have to go to Western Europe.
Westernized muslims present a particular problem. The guilt of living a noncompliant lifestyle brings much guilt. The only way to atone and assure entry into paradise is to die in jihad. We often hear that the perps are not real muslim because of their wayward habits. No, the are real muslims who are atoning for their wicked ways in the only way they know how.
Keep in mind that not even the perfect Mohammed was sure of his salvation. Only dying as a martyr does the trick. No amount of vetting will keep us safe. The least muslim muslim are the dangerous ones.
If I were German I would be so pissed. But then again I’m American and this very same attitude has gotten me pissed. When will Germans rise up?
