Holy smokes. I don't mean to be dramatic, but I just suffered a major meltdown. I do not know how or why. But I think I may be in trouble. What should I do?
Without specifics, if it has you that worried, go to the ER if your health plan doesn’t have a call a nurse feature.

As you can see, there are a lot of us here who want to help you, but we need more information. What do you mean by ‘meltdown’? Good luck to you, if you aren’t ready to talk about it. Visualize love, beauty, comfort and success.
It’s never not funny seeing an old FReeper post this. I miss the threads that you knew were going to go to 1000+ for no other reason than for the heck of it.

It was a very powerful hallucination. No idea where it came from. I feel somewhat better now.

Be blessed and seek appropriate help, hospital, counselor, etc.
If this isn’t a scam, cognitive changes can be medical emergencies, as in transient strokes, or full strokes. Checking with a doctor wouldn’t be a bad idea, and if things are bad enough, a call to 911 for emergency care might be warranted.
Take some Valerian Root and go to bed. Things will be better in the morning.
Move to Colorado.
I second Mears’ suggestion to take a long walk. They often work wonders.
