Considering a nick to your femoral artery would kill you before an ambulance could get there, I don’t think it’s a good bet.

The way you stop this is by making it mandatory that any payouts come from the police pension fund.

As it stands now, it is we the taxpayers that end up footing the bill.

If the bill goes directly against the retirement of all police officers, you will see a quick self correction that will never be accomplished by committees or review boards.
