The music was as popular as the movie itself.

John Williams is as much a part of Star Wars as Darth Vader or R2D2. He has brought much enjoyment to millions of people.
Back around 2000/2001, when cell phones were in the infant stages of programmable ring tones. A coworker had Darth Vader’s Theme (the Imperial March) on his phone...

He wrote the ‘Lost in Space’ theme. The Star Trek theme was composed by Alexander Courage.
As good as the Star Wars sound track is, I don’t enjoy it as much as Saving Private Ryan. “Hymn to the Fallen” brings tears to the eyes every time.

Ah yes, 1977 and the Star Wars movie. I was in aircraft interceptor radar maintenance school. Ah, the ‘geekism’ that brings to mind. (Never mind the in-class viewing of ‘strike films’!)

it seems like they literally phoned in the last movie and they want to continue from the last movie.
Speaking as a trumpet player of mediocre talent, all I can say is these guys are awesome :)
I must say I’m surprised that John Williams lives in such a relatively humble residence.
