I think people may be better off not knowing who Henry is.
I knew him way back. My band played gigs with Black Flag - before and after Henry.
And a TV Party was Black Flag. It wasn’t “Henry’s art”. It pre-dated Henry being in the band. (TV Party was also a NYC direct access punk rock show and I wonder if Ginn got the idea for TV Party from that - I doubt they let Black Flag on the show.)
I liked Henry fine back then and he did some commendable things in real life. But at that time he never talked hardly.
What he is saying is standard liberal religion dogma.
Liberals think black people are superior to whites, mainly because they are cooler. Heaving been oppressed by whites also contributes to their superiority.
I’d love to have all the special rights that blacks have. As a middle aged white male, I have squat compared to them.

Well, you make a decent point. It sounds like we agree on a lot of things overall.
One thing for certain is that Obama is really stirring the racial pot by essentially declaring war on the police with his rhetoric. Sure there are some bad eggs in the police force, but to just imply that there is some type of insidious racism permeating the police across the country is so irresponsible it just makes me sick.
More frustrating than that is no one in the main stream media is calling him out on it. They treat him like he’s an impassioned observer...a voice of reason in terrible storm....instead of the bomb thrower he is. It’s really just sick.
I believe that if the polls start to tilt Trumps way, things BLM get more violent. Obama is very likely pulling the strings on that movement...to state the obvious. Heck, if Trump wins and sets off to end sanctuary cities, enforce our immigration laws, and get rid of Obamacare I expect the BLM movement to get even more crazy violent....all in the name of peace of course.
