“There’s no “Blank Space” in Taylor Swift’s bank account.”

There’s always a blank space for the next guy.

“Will she still be popular in 10 or 15 years? “
No, but she will be rich.

She’s a helluva businesswoman though. She’s one of the few pop stars that have their heads on straight.

Can’t be, radio & tv & concert audiences are down and the public doesn’t buy music anymore.

well, that’s what the suits say at least.

I suspect by then she will have throttled back on her career to raise a family. She'll be 27 this year, her fanbase aging right along with her.

Anyhow, I don't see how she tops 1989. It was truly her towering musical achievement. Every step of her career led up to the release of that album and corresponding tour. There's not really anywhere else to go after that.

The suits at Decca records also told the Beatles that “guitar groups are on the way out” and “The Beatles have no future in show business”

Um, she’s actually one of us. Just does not talk about it much. Avoids talking politics and religion, which I also consider to be a big plus.

Wonder why certain rappers go off on her, or rather try to and then get stomped?

And she made it by working hard, being talented, and being gorgeous (IMHO, tastes differ). But not by spreading (redacted).

So yeah, I’m happy to see this...

Congrats, Taylor Swift.

Lots of great pop music and “I’m a nightmare, dressed like a daydream” is one great lyric in a song of great lyrics...

If anyone could do that it will be Taylor. Keep in mind she's not just a singer\performer. She's writing these hit songs too. Yeah, so I for one, think she'll have as much longevity in the Biz as anyone could.

Yeah, that’s why she hangs out with Lena Dunham.

That could just be biz. Or mayber they like each other personally. Don’t know.

I don’t agree politically or religiously with all of my friends.

But respect what she has done as a professional and business person.

She’s very successful business-wise. She puts out good pop songs. Looks pretty with the right make up and hair styling.

With her, everything is biz and I mean everything.

She’s not one of us.

She may not even be on the same team if you know what I mean.

Well good to hear it, I just don’t care for her music. All power to her for using her talents and working hard.

As a pop star? No.

But she is smart enough to re-invent herself or go into a similar line of work (movies? Directing? Media?). So far she's been well-advised, and well-raised enough not to have made an ass of herself as Miley Cyrus or Justin Bieber.
