No two people could ever be funnier than Tim Conway and Harvey Korman. Came very close to wetting myself a number of times and men just aren’t supposed to do that!

You HAVE to see the one that starts with Conway wearing a yellow ballcap sitting on the your left side of the couch. It’s hilarious.
It is interesting to see the different answers on this thread.
You can pretty much figure an age and part of the country with an answer.
From I love Lucy (screaming someone in their mid to late 70’s in a rural area, to Breaking Bad...who is probably a suburban 50 year old.)

I think that's why I liked the show so much. It was nothing like I ever experienced in my real life (thank God!). I don't watch too many TV shows but the ones I choose to watch are typically completely outside my real life experience. It gives me a chance to escape to a world that I would never otherwise experience. It's also a reason I like to read a good book.
If there was ever a TV show done on my life experience and observations, it would probably flop. Everybody would be bored to tears!
Nah. I’m not that old but I remember watching the show. My two youngest daughters when they were about 12 started watching the I Love Lucy reruns and thought it was the funniest show they’ve ever seen.
I liked the Steve Allen show better than Johnny Carson

Wow, I never watched a moment of “Dexter” and do not imagine I ever will. My wife loved it though.
Superman and The Mickey Mouse Club—good lessons for the “yutes” of America without being smarmy or condescending.
The Twilight Zone for being thought provoking but for impressionable kids may have been more intense than The Untouchables of that era which the national PTA complained about.
Dragnet for presenting Lt Joe Friday’s conservative and no-nonsense approach to life.
Today, in spite of the left wing propaganda so flame away, Law and Order SVU, Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD. Imaginative writing if somewhat contrived situations, nothing in its league years ago. Those lady cops can arrest me anytime.

What was that show? I see a few policemen so it looks like a police drama.

The choice of music used in the show was flawless as well. From "Crystal Blue Persuasion" to "Baby Blue" the music was very well chosen.
Also, it had probably the perfect ending. Most great TV shows really flub the final episode. This one was pretty much perfect.
Second place on my list of best TV shows would go to "Mad Men". Probably because I work in Manhattan and can identify with much of the culture. My father would have been exactly Don Draper's age during the show and I remember visiting his workplace in the mid 1960s and it was just like that. Everybody smoked, had liquor in their offices and the secretaries were often a little wild and crazy. Really a good period piece and another show where you had to pay attention to each episode. And the music selection in that show was flawless as well. The only thing I didn't like that much about "Mad Men" was all the sex scenes. But my father confirmed that there was a lot of fooling around during that era.
