"...'boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl'."
Or the Swamp Thing variation: Boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy turns into plant.

It is not Dr. Smith’s fault.
He has a very delicate back.

My daughter caught on early. She always said the movies are all the same they just have different people in them.

There was an A-Team episode that reused a Starsky & Hutch script. In both, a main character was wounded and in danger of dying in a restaurant being controlled by a hostage taker.

The A-Team was basically the same plot every week. Good guy/gal in distress, Hannibal brings the boys to beat the bad guys and save the day. Loved that show in the 80’s.
To: Boardwalk
I read somewhere that Curb Your Enthusiasm used a lot of plot lines from the old Jack Benny Show.
