As a former govt. weenie who worked in embassies all over the world, I totally agree with Trump on this issue. Our trading partners are constantly bending us over. Free trade is great - but only if it is fair trade.

We also have to stop running trade deficits. The US is a huge market and we do not need to trade with countries that only sell to us and do not buy. We can do just fine without cheap goods from China.

Jobs will return, the demand for labor will go up, and opportunity will bloom for our lower end workers. Globalization has been a disaster.
