With coats of corkscrew curls and ears that flop at the tips, the latest recognised breed of dog could well be the cutest. Breeders have been working tirelessly in the US over the past two decades in a quest to get the pumi officially noticed – and their hard work paid off. To become officially recognised by the American Kennel Club (AKC), the fluffy canine had to meet a population quota among a host of other criteria.

Very smart herding dogs. Can learn a crazy amount of commands. Almost decimated during WWl as they were used to carry ammo and med supplies. One funny thing, they love vegetables! Big too! Mine could stand on his hind legs, put his paws on my shoulders, and look me straight in the eye. I’m 6’3” tall. Great for scaring away burglars too!

Greys are so goofy! We had a rescue who was the sweetest, goofiest girl. She lived to be 14 and in her last few years loved to be out in the garden with me. I miss her.

I lived in an 1836 farmhouse on 110 acres. Somewhat isolated. House full of antique furniture I had restored. Stuff fron 1780 to 1810. Easy to sell in some place like Chicago, I’m outside of Cleveland. Some guys backed a truck up to the front porch, and one guy went around to a side window to break in. Footprints a couple feet apart in the snow. He met Pandemonium at the side window. Tracks in the snow were 6 feet apart back to the truck! Probably shat himself too! Bwaaa! Wonderful dog!
