A black bear cub scaled a 12-foot fence in its new enclosure at an Ohio zoo and escaped for about 15 minutes before being corralled and sedated.
The Columbus Zoo was put on lockdown Saturday morning for a few minutes until workers could contain the 7-month-old black cub named Joan, said zoo spokeswoman Patty Peters.
No one was hurt.

So now, will the liberals come out and compare this situation, with the situation where the gorilla was shot and killed at a zoo?? Will they say why couldn’t they have captured and tranquilized the gorilla as they did this bear??
Anybody ever notice how liberals become self anointed experts on everything? At the time of the shooting of the gorilla, all of a sudden, liberal commentators in the media became experts on how to run a zoo, and how to handle emergency situations with wild animals. And they put themselves out there as authorities, to challenge what the actual zoo officials decided to do in that situation.
Or the worker who forgot to lock the latch on the enclosure. Dizzy’s home! Phew!
