When US Secretary of State John Kerry wanted to push his country to take the lead on climate change, it was no accident that he chose to give a speech in Norfolk, Virginia.

Norfolk Naval Station is the biggest naval installation in the world. But, Kerry said last November, “the land it is built on is literally sinking.”

I don’t think either matters to the navy... ships were designed to float. If Kerry or nature violates that basic law then we have a HUGE problem!

The sea is rising at the rate of a millimeter every decade. Time is running out! Oh, woe is us! What will we do?

... wanted to push his country to take the lead ...

...is kind of funny. Sad really. Or is it sadistic? He can't lead, so he has lie from behind to try to get people to be stupid.

Idiot, land settles. If you pump out the ground water it settles more.

China has like 36 cities that are “sinking”.

The land is sinking? I thought the seas were rising. It’s all so confusing...

It's all very simple : it's both.

The folks in Norfolk have been under 45 feet (13.7614679 meters) of water since the First IPCC UN report...

They just don't realize it yet.

“Obama declared in a June 8, 2008 speech, that his presidency will be “the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.”

Why hasn’t Obama issued an order to the sea to stop rising?

“The land is sinking? I thought the seas were rising. It’s all so confusing...”

Excellent observation! The libtards and Globalists always change the script to fit their agenda. First it was called “Global Warming”, and when that didn’t work out so well, they changed it to “Climate Change”. Now, as you pointed out, there’s been quite a few stories about land sinking in many major cities around the world. It appears that the script is going from “Rising Sea Levels” to “Cities and Military Bases are Sinking” LOL! What’s next? “The Earth Doesn’t Spin” to “We Change ‘Facts’ so Often and Fast it Make Your Head Spin”

It’s a 2 pronged problem at the Naval Base, land is sinking and seas are rising, and both are the fault of Globull Warming. /sarcasm

Is the base built on a landfill?

...and right across the bay is Fort Monroe and one can see the marks 100 years or more of tide have left. The water level never leaves those boundaries. Yet we get “the sky is falling” from libtard chicken little snowflakes. I can’t tell you how many I have told to go check the moat at Ft. Monroe and then come talk to me.
