Hawaii's governor signed a bill making it the first state to place its residents who own firearms in a federal criminal record database and monitor them for possible wrongdoing anywhere in the country, his office said.

How does someone say “police state” in Hawaiian?
Is this even legal under Feral law? I had believed that no databases would be kept on gun ownership, that it was specifically prohibited, under the Firearm Owners’ Protection Act of 1986.
But of course, states are allowed an exception if there is a full range of Democrat politicians at the state and Feral level, with control of the courts and legislature.
Let this be a warning to gun owners in the other 49 states.
Oh, and watch for more state legislation to confiscate guns on the basis of suspected domestic violence. Due process be d@mned!

No danger of me going to HI. And I don’t conceal carry. Have thought about getting the permit, but decided it was not worth extra exposure. I don’t fear my neighbors or local police. It is legal to have a gun in the glove box of your car without a CC permit.
So, I’m waiting for Constitutional Carry. Have requested that from the AG’s office before.
The Left’s extreme zeal to take all our guns is a clear indicator of the evil that they plan to impose on this nation. They can pound sand. It’s not going to happen.

Looks like Hawaii volunteered to be the testing grounds for unconstitutional government programs. Much safer to force people to comply when you know who has what guns in order to properly prepare for an arrest.

Funny how it’s the state that Obama will be moving to and was allegedly hatched in (despite the only Hawaiin vital statistics registrar who had intimate knowledge of O’s alleged birth certificate who died in a “plane crash that everyone else survived and was observed getting out of the plane and into the water then suddenly and unexplainedly dying).
Well the thugs in Chicago and Dearbornstan weren’t stopped by “gun laws” and the highest gun crime rates and deaths all seem to be in cities where the gun ordinances are the most extreme so good luck with that.
