PHOENIX (KPHO/KTVK) - A Phoenix man was arrested after police say he was found in bed naked with an 11-year-old girl early Monday morning.
According to court documents, Anthony Mitchell, 27, met the victim online and talked on a website. She reportedly told him that she was 26 years old.
The victim invited Mitchell to her apartment and police said they had sex.
Officers said the victim's father arrived home and found Mitchell naked in bed with his daughter. She was partially clothed. He restrained Mitchell until officers arrived.
Court documents said Mitchell told officers he thought the girl was 16 years old. Later, he allegedly said he knew the victim wasn't 26 years old but thought she was at least 18 years old.
Mitchell faces two counts of sexual conduct with a minor and one count of sexual abuse.
Holy moley.
Not to get too graphic, but there’s no way to mistake an 11 year old for a girl of legal age. The various indicators of development would tip you off to that. Holy Jeez.

know what your Children are doing on line, it is really not that hard, some are just to busy living their own lives and usually the first to be shocked.
I would say that it was the father who was restrained.
Were it me in this father’s place the police would have had to mop up this man with a sponge.
The perp is extremely lucky he didn’t end up dead.
In my home they’d be arresting a corpse.

I thought she was 16 and she was only 11.

Nothing wrong with that.
The problem starts with her getting sexualized at such a young age.
Not too shocking in this sick sex-obsessed society anymore.
Shoot, shovel, shut up.
In my home, they’d find no corpse to arrest.
If I had a daughter and found that situation, the guy would be dead.
The police would have had to call the coroner....just saying
“Was that wrong?”
“What is wrong with the daughter??”
There is no doubt that if true, the accused should be in prison for life.
However, there is something else going on there.
11 year old girl is on the net apparently trying to meet adult men.
Dad leaves his 11 year old daughter at home alone.
Dad did not put a bullet in the perp’s head.
Girls look like Miley Cirus when they’re 11. You’re right.
No mistaking, no how, no way.

I would have called 911 and requested the coroner.
