It would be interesting to know exactly how many cases like this the FBI is running. Is the issue that they have too many cases and they can't separate the wheat from the chaff? Is it that they have some policy or guideline blocking them? I hate to even think that they don't have enough manpower? Maybe a systemic adjustment could make them more effective.

One issue to remember is that domestic counter terrorism is an FBI function, so having Jeh Johnson all over the TV today is nothing but political window dressing. His statement about gun control being part and parcel to DHS is even worse since there is no nexus between domestic guns and DHS responsibilities other than keeping them off commercial aircraft. Johnson should be more concerned with locking down the open border and enforcing the immigration laws he has ordered his department to not enforce.

More like it was that an islamic mole in the FBI tipped off Omar that Disney was on to him.

He was also pinging a cell tower as he cased Disney springs or whatever they renamed downtown Disney. There are no security entrances or pat downs but he chose not to attack there. My thoughts are that he knew good, law abiding concealed weapon holders would shoot back. Just my opinion, but I do have personal knowledge of the cell tower pings.

My exact wonderment. Maybe he took a ton of pictures of his wife at the entrance, where they check bags and get into the park. Or kept loitering around where the cast members go in?
