Our 8 acre farm in Eastern Kansas has all except maybe the honeybees. We have some but not a lot. Lots of frogs, butterflies, fireflies. Also dragonflies, turtles, birds. I’ve only seen one monarch this year which makes me sad. We grow milkweed for them. We even have a sign telling them that we’re a Monarch Way Station but my brother pointed out that it’s in English and since they’re from Mexico they probably don’t understand it.

LOL. Safe haven for undocumented Monarchs.
Insects come and go, wax and wane. years ago we had a massive infestation of blister beetles, then the next year it was crickets.
Then ticks.
Since those days we have had another infestation of crickets, but NO blister beetles.
Right now it is water bugs.
The Monarchs may take a while. I think I remember hearing of a hard freeze in that part of Mexico this past winter.
