A transgender man has died of wounds suffered from an alleged assault in a Vermont homeless shelter, according to police.
Amos Beede of Milton died Sunday at the University of Vermont Medical Center of injuries that included head trauma, facial fractures and broken ribs, Burlington Police Chief Brandon del Pozo said in a statement.
Beede, 38, succumbed to his injuries one week after falling victim to an alleged aggravated assault, according to a police statement.
Beede's initial prognosis was positive, with police suggesting he would make a quick recovery. But that did not prove to be the case. The possibility of a hate crime has not been ruled out because of Beede's transgender identification, police said.

But the Looney Left will use this as evidence of an "epidemic of violence" against "transgendered" people and the need for special protections. In reality, it is an isolated incident in which some freak got the crap kicked out of him/her/it.

I actually know a woman whose mother was the winnings in a poker game in Arkansas. The man who won her didn’t live very long after but left the woman with a producing farm there in Arkansas. the daughter grew up to be a biker mama and then got religion when she was 33 and now has a husband in Florida and votes conservative.

Unless the taxpayers are paying for it transgendering is a fad for the rich that greatly enhances the chances of medical mistakes should an emergency happen.

I think so. The media PC forces use of the assumed gender. So by using masculine pronouns, we can only assume he/she/it was a woman originally.
