My guess, joking aside... she knows the release of the emails is unstoppable, and this is being leaked in a hail-Mary pass so the focus is on her sordid, but not illegal, penchant for women, hoping to divert attention away from the one-off, quid pro quo money-belching (very illegal) scam of trading her SOS powers for big buck Bill speeches.
This is calculated to divert attention from the illegal activities long enough for her to get in office. From there, she can shut down all investigation.
