I just pirated the latest-- err, uh, I mean-- I just read the latest Captain America, published in May, because I heard it was controversial.
Red Skull gave a Donald Trump speech against Muslim refugees and illegal immigrants, and millions of Americans were responding to his message and becoming white supremacists who wear suicide vests.
Then Captain America must have heard Trump's-- err, I mean-- Red Skull's speeches and decided he wanted to Make America Great Again and murdered a fellow Super Hero and declared "Trump 2016"-- no, he said "Hail Hydra." And actually, the plot has it that Steve Rogers was always a deep cover Hydra Agent, as they gave a flashback.
I also noticed that there is a black Captain America. I bet he's gay.

I work with a thirtyish white guy who seems intelligent and well read. He believes that cops are targeting black men. He believes Hillary did nothing wrong and the email saga is a Republican witch hunt. He believes the Black Lives Matter story on Treyvon and the other black kids who were up and coming super stars cut down in their prime by racism.
I hired a black man for him to work with and he was very upset because, well, black men are all bad. They work together great and get along, but he lets me know just how inferior this guy is. The paradoxical beliefs and behaviors are amazing. But I suspect he is the typical Democrat.

I suspect that their deep-rooted racism is what makes them feel guilty and project their feelings that blacks are inferior on to other people. Makes perfect sense from a psychological viewpoint.
He is the typical white Democrat for sure. It's all good as long as they don't actually have to interact with them, blacks that is. After all, the are the party of the KKK.

Almost nobody reads the comic books anymore.
They’re just properties and vehicles for movies, tv shows, video games, Halloween costumes, etc.

Comic book writers and enthusiasts tend to hate Trump and anything remotely conservative.
There was a thread a few days back about the campaign for a gay Captain America. The writer said it was letting the kids who read the comics down.
But it looks like most comic book readers nowadays are adults. Kids don't have the money.
And teens seem to be more interested in video games than in comic books. But the movie industry can't get much out of video games. The characters and plots tend to be pretty slight. So Hollywood keeps recycling old comic books as if people still cared.
Plus, I think teenaged graphic novel/animation obsessives tend to like the Japanese stuff more than what their fathers or grandfathers were reading decades back.
You are in a northern or California location, no? We get kind of the opposite of that hereabout., The white guys using all the language they grew up with but in the office or at the shipyard the drinking buddies and fishing friends do not have racial separations.
The irony is that even as the stories become popularized through these blockbuster motion pictures, the comic book industry itself is withering on the vine. Although I think most of this SJW virtue signaling is an ideological war America, I actually think a good portion of it is comic book executives who are under the delusion that if they expand their base through “diversity” and “inclusion” it’ll save their dying industry.
It's all about the Holy Mother Welfare State. If you support its expansion, you can do nothing else wrong.
