Yes, they really need to figure out how to get it done by the end of May. With 30 teams, it would be tough to finish by Mother's Day like they did back in the day, but even the biggest fans are probably losing interest once June 1st rolls around. Also, have to believe the ice conditions in most arenas aren't the best at this time of year.

LOL ... that I did, and actually grew to like it better than cold.
Problem was availabilty - we'd go weeks without a resupply, especially during Tet.
Ammo, C-rats and water had priority.

I vaguely remember back in the early-mid 70s a playoff game between Rangers @ Montreal was cancelled due to fog ... in the arena.
