$2700. Am debating if this is a must-have. Real full auto MP5 was a joy to use. Thoughts?

If you go for it, you may as well SBR it, too.

H&K is an excellent manufacturer. Anything they make, I’ll buy.

I know- you could arm-up nicely for $2700. I can’t see it except as a novelty.

Looks like it would be almost impossible to cc, and very difficult to oc legally in Texas. Looks like the main function is to have something to get attention at the range. If one has a few thousand in loose change in their pockets, might be a nice show off toy.

I could’ve picked up an SP89 in 1993 for around $1100.
Passed on it because this format makes for a really SHITTY pistol. Didn’t think of the SBR/brace potential. Damn.

Not at $2700.00. It looks like it’d be fun, but way too pricey for me. I just built a 9mm AR pistol, that once I get my “permission slip” will be converted to an SBR. I did it for 1/3 of the Mp5k, including the stamp.

SBR, suppressor, collapsing stock. That would be more concealable than an SBR M4gery (though weaker ammo).

A guy can dream.

Why would it be difficult to OC in Texas?

Texas OC need to be in a hip or shoulder holster, so difficult unless you can find a compatible holster rig.

There’s an old saying about pistols with shoulder stocks like the Mauser Broomhandle, that `a shoulder stock turns a good pistol into a bad carbine’.

Doesn’t keep me from owning several, though.

wouldn’t it be considered a rifle at that point? SBR = rifle
