(Vanity) Michael Savage on radio. Haven't listened in a while, but I am very impressed.

I have to say, I have not listened to the Michael Savage in quite a while ago.

Not at all.

I am listening right now however, and am quite impressed at the moment. He's currently talking about the modern black-list in Hollywood.

He's right, and I am impressed. Just wanted to say that, and give a shout-out his direction.

Savage has been supporting Trump all along, which is why I decided to listen to him. So far, I'm impressed.

He's just wrapping up now.

Good show Michael.

I go sort of hot & cold on Savage but since I’ve gone ICE cold on Levin and lukewarm on Rush...he’s leapfrogged a few notches toward the front of my interest.

That is (exactly) why I am listening.

You nailed it.

Everyone else is completely sold out.

Michael Savage, Laura Ingraham, and Sean Hannity have been really good this primary. Rush and Levin have been crap. Beck is orbiting the crazy moon.

I've always enjoyed Savage. He's a bit goofy, but I like his political commentary. And I like it when he goes off-topic and talks about his dog, or about restaurants, or about the fog over San Fransisco Bay.

Interestingly enough, he's been hinting this may be his last broadcast year. He has one more political book coming out election time, and is on air until after this election, and he plans on making a decision about his radio future.

He was the ONLY talker that supported Donald J. Trump from Day 1, as a caller today pointed out.

HOORAY Michael Savage.

I find Savage’s capacity to make everything about himself or his “life story” a very effeminate trait. Intelligent? Yes. Cultured? Yes. Productive? No. Savage is a cultural voyeur, same as Limbaugh (who used to say he was the titular head of the GOP). These people are frauds. Why be a congressman for 170k per year when you can be a talkshow host and start at 250k in syndication.

I really, really want Michael Savage to produce a podcast of him reading Maya Angleou poetry in his Bernie Sanders voice. That would be a scream.

Try keeping the audience interested and maintain the numbers that Rush has done for 20+ years. It is hard. No, not ditch digging hard, but nothing like being a politician. Try it sometime. Sit in front of a microphone and speak for 30 minutes without pulling your hair out.
You will end like most, sounding crazy after more hair pulling than ingenious, captivating, and consistent ideas flowing from your mouth.

It’s his delivery that drives me nuts (admittedly a short trip). Whining, screeching, just annoying. He has many good points and is a better critical thinker than Levin or Rush IMHO.

He has toned down a lot since his show was moved to day-time hours.

Maybe Cumulus Media, etc., cautioned him to tone down some.

When Savage was replaced with Michael Berry in Albany 2 years ago I was pleased. At that point I’d had enough of Savage’s spew.

BUT. BUT..... Berry has been a complete D-Bag about Trump and talks of nothing else. Cruz got my $$ and my NY vote, but I’ve never been against Donald, and Berry’s anger and patronizing is nauseating.

Anyway, good to hear. Savage is on a lesser station now that I can only get in my car, but good to know, and maybe it’s time for a new radio.

Michael Savage is clear: Obama’s failed anti-American policies has brought about a clear victory for a successful, American Trump. And Savage points out how the media will never broadcast the cause (failed Obama) and effect (successful Trump) relationship. Too obvious. Too clear. And way overdue. We need an American president.

Shouldn’t that be psychological nudity?

As soon as Michael Berry threw off the good ole boy mask for a second to reveal himself to be a GOP elitist, I quit him. Pits too bad because he often technically said things I agreed with. But it’s all an act.

Zero disagreement wrt Rush. I think he is phenomenally talented and a genius; not in the sense of an Einstein or a Tesla, but in his ability to communicate and foresee things well before they develop. Levin, on the other hand, has just become like a jackhammer that I do not want to hear. I still respect him tremendously for his Constitutional knowledge and in general his ability to impart it. But for the present, I don’t get the feeling he’s able to teach me anything beyond what he’s already taught me...which is a lot. And he has upped his abuse of listeners tenfold. It’s just flat out unpleasant and unrewarding for me to listen to him.

I will go back to both of them, tentatively, sometime in the future. For now, “radio off”.
