For the safety of worshipers and visitors to the Grand Mosque in Makkah and to facilitate carrying out the rites, the Holy Kabah will be washed once a year on Muharram 15 due to the ongoing projects and expansion works. Royal approval has been issued in this regard, SPA reported Wednesday quoting Ahmed Al-Mansouri, spokesman of the presidency for the affairs of the two holy mosques as saying.
HOLY KA’BAH BATMAN!!
Can I lend some spit or urine to the cause ?
Also, a nuke will clean it right up.
Shine it up with bacon grease!
They used to say pee is sterile (it has since been disproved,) but I would still pee on it/them. Anything I can do to help
If it were truly holy - as forgone is the case of this thief, pedophile and mass murdering so-called prophet and his flying horse - it wouldn’t need cleaning.
Funny video, but perhaps not to the liking of some of the more sensitive FReepers. Language and such.
The comments below are... Wow!
That’s Youtube for ya. :P
I have just the thing...
oh
That is pure gold thread on it.
To my knowledge, since the takeover by the Saud tribe, it has always been the responsibility of the Saudi king (aka the custodian of the two holy mosques) to clean the kabah once each year.
But, my question is this: if no one but the king is allowed inside, how does it get dirty?
Islamophobic space ghosts?
Figures; primitive barbarians washing a rock.
They pull out the pressure washer and hose it down once a year—whether it needs it or not. Sounds like some of my hill town relatives.
There are a multitude of reasons to dislike the mohammedan "religion" but periodically washing a rock is not one of them.
I wash my driveway much more frequently than that and I have never met anyone who thought it was in the least bit strange or barbaric.
In a land of much dust and little water it is sometimes hard to keep your rocks clean.
