There won’t be a Cruz to support in the General. First, he can’t get the 1237 he needs; that ship has sailed. Second, we all heard Boehner’s comments this week about the man and that’s all we need to know about how the GOPe will allow this effort to end in Cleveland. They will not tolerate Cruz in the Oval Office.
Cruz is useful to them now, to dilute Trump’s votes. When/if that’s a done deal, then Cruz will be kicked to the curb in a heartbeat. It won’t be a question of Trump or Cruz. It’ll be Trump if he gets the 1237. If he doesn’t, it’ll be Jeb or Romney.

Boner has a special hate for Cruz because Cruz made him resign in disgrace for ineffectiveness....same with McConnell it’s just a matter of time for McConnell to resign or retire
