Sorry for the vanity, but this is getting tiresome to me. The same few posters find any drivel to support Lyin' Ted or any screed to jab Mr. Trump. We all know who they are. What if nobody responds to their attempts to incite? Maybe the threads die out sooner and some of the invectives against one another lessen.
I know that I have been purposely avoiding even reading articles posted by the select few. I have found my blood pressure to be much better once I started ignoring the falling trees.

Notice the stale Posts and near absence of hard news.
Notice how the negative news on Obama and Hillary have slowed to a trickle on FR?
Banning dissent does not create cohesion.

If you read post 46, I think you will see the poster agrees that it is a personal decision. I take it as a suggestion that might lower not only B/Ps but some nasty posts if people avoiding certain threads that they know are upsetting to them. I try to assume the positive, if I am wrong it won’t be the first time.
You as a Cruz supporter have the same right to your opinion and the consequences of that opinion that I have. Veterans have fought to maintain that freedom and unless the invaders are allowed to take it away, we continue to have it.
It’s interesting that you have labelled me a “Cruz supporter” based on my posts on this thread. That is, in fact, erroneous ... but the assumption is an example of the low-thought environment in which we currently move.

And yes that does happen. Sometimes it is an honest mistake, although the Trump multi-posts dont happen nearly as much as it did from the Cruz people last Jan/Feb.
It was so predictable, we would joke how many times it would happen. Sometimes it happened 8 times in ONE HOUR.
One time a poster (now banned) “GodGunGuts” reposted an article 30 minutes after commenting on the SAME article that another Cruz poster put up.

I saw a post of his today. He seems to have toned down his over-the-top anti-Trumpism; his tag line is now "Either Cruz or Trump, but Hillary we must dump!"
I’ve been labeled a racist for supporting Cruz by a proTrump spammer on this site. My enthusiasm for FR has diminished greatly over this election season. Damn the Constitution, full speed ahead...just without me.

I totally agree. All this juvenile "bot" lingo infers disrespect to fellow members here. If someone refers to me as a "Trumpster, all he is attempting to do is start an argument, not a reasoned dialogue.
As for Cruz supporters, they appear to disregard the facts depicted in videos of hard evidence of Cruz' lying, and so I ignore those posters.
That's what it amounts to in the Trump camp. It's not 100% assured that he'll be the nominee, but anyone who doesn't like Trump IS A HERETIC!!!! THEY MUST BE SILENCED!!!
That is what all the Trump backers are saying. The same people ranted and raved about Romney after he was nominated. Nobody talked about banning them.

On the other hand is the thought that if things get posted that are out there, untrue or what have you and no one responds will people that do happen to stumble on that thread think it is accurate because no one corrected what was said?
I have never approved of name calling. It isn’t necessary. I do strongly support Trump and am excited to see him about to win the nomination.
I've got news for you friend....millions of Republicans won't vote if Trump is the nominee. I'll vote for him, but millions won't. It works both ways.

I'm with you Popman. I know many of the Trump people on this forum are good conservatives, but there are many who just can't stand the idea someone else doesn't like their man. So they've character assassinated one of the strongest conservatives in Congress in many years.
Sorry, that ship has sailed. If Trump had remained civil,he might have had a chanc at uniting the party However, the invective that Trump acolytes have thrown at an honorable man have convinced me and many others that we could not in good conscience vote for the man. I instead support Cruz, who probably motes the conservative principles I thought we all favored on this website. I, for example r one, will laugh at the wailing and gnashing of teeth when Ted Cruz is the nominee after the second round of delegate very ting.
