Here is a great rendition of Satisfied Mind played by Tommy Emmanuel. His technical skill is on full display here as he is all over the fingerboard with flawless transitions and embellishments. I'm always up for a Tommy Emmanuel vid. Not a particular fan of this one though, since I greatly prefer the more upbeat stuff he does and has done. Also good was the little he got to play with Chet Atkins.
I got Tommy's new Christmas album that he came out with in 2014. It was excellent.

If you ask people who Tommy Emmanuel is, they usually don’t know.
When you ask guitar players who Tommy Emmanuel is, they can talk about him for hours.
When people ask me who my favorite guitar players are I say Tommy Emmanuel and Robben Ford. I usually get a blank stare.
Both of those guys are unknowns in the US and big stars in Europe and Korea and Japan.

You can’t hide mistakes on an acoustic guitar.
Tommy actually flubs a couple of notes on that song. If he were playing electric it would be unnoticeable.
