And Cruz still thinks he can steal the nomination!

Liberals heads are exploding everywhere. The Marxists are getting their lifeboats ready. The Muzzies are getting worried. Maybe he is the guy for the job after all.

“Even worse. Romney made his money by asset stripping. Buying companies and parting them out.”

I’m not a Romney fan, but asset stripping isn’t a bad thing. Had a company similar to Romney’s company (what was that ... Bane Capital?) taken over GM, stripped its assets, and sold off various entities in a logical manner, we probably would have had a few healthy American automobile companies right now.

Instead, we maintained the status quo and simply bailed out the UAW for the most part. No problems were solved. GM continues to be a flat growth company even after the bailouts. One small deviation from the norm and they’re right back where they were.

There were better ways to handle that situation by selling key, core assets to new owners. That would bode well for all parties involved, but it wouldn’t have helped the Democrats or the union thugs.

Of course, I don’t know how Romney handled retirees that may have been impacted by his decisions. I would not want to see GM pension recipients get screwed despite my personal disdain for unions (unions screwed my father over, but he was still union through and through right up until the day he died ... I find them sickening as union leadership does nothing but use people for cash and political power anymore ... they make ridiculous demands and take on zero risk).

Still, breaking up dead weight isn’t necessarily a bad thing overall, and if you happen to have a businessman with something that resembles morals, you can both profit handsomely from such a situation and bring seemingly dead weight back to life ... that leads to job growth and a growing economy ... that’s an environment where all former and current GM employees could thrive. Instead, we get yet another Obamanation.

What we witnessed tonight was a hostile takeover of the GOPe by Trump and patriotic citizens. K Street is puckering.

True, Romney was set up in the debate by the moderator and Obama. Romney however is 100% guilty of laying down in the 2nd and 3rd debated. That is really why he lost. It was almost as if he was told to take a fall.

I know that but it seems a lot more personal to me.

I don't remember all the specifics, but I recall some story told by an "insider" that they exchanged words at the 2012 Convention.

It escalated to VERY HARSH words. And, yes, it is PERSONAL. Very personal, as in middle school mean girl personal. They absolutely despise each other.

Romney will not only fight to prevent Trump from winning the nomination, it is not out of the realm of possibility that he would support Hillary Clinton.

Rush said the same thing yesterday, that whatever happened Tuesday night didn’t matter. They’re just copying Rush’s remarks.

Rush and Cruz seem to be sucking on the same hash pipe.

Romney never faced the kind of unmitigated media hatred that Trump has received either. Perhaps America is waking up.

Romney never faced a hostile GOP party apparatus, either.

Didn’t you ever feel something was “ off” about Romney?
Maybe this was it
A personal investment in obtaining the honors of head of state but not the inner passion to work for it
And jealousy of the man is does not “ deserve” those honors but is getting them by hard work

“Eric Harley came right out and said that Trump’s victory tonight doesn’t really matter.”

Mark Levin’s logic: It doesn’t matter because it was expected.

It is amazing all that Trump has had to overcome so far. When the establishmant doesn’t want him, it speaks highly of him.

He seems to be the only one wanting to stand up and fight for us. As he has said, Washington doesn’t put Americans 1st anymore. They don’t even put us 10th.
