Bruce Springsteen will no longer be performing in North Carolina this weekend.
In response to the state's passage of the controversial House Bill 2 -- often referred to as the "bathroom law" -- the "Born in the U.S.A." rocker announced in a statement to fans that he is canceling his concert on Sunday in Greensboro in support of the LGBT community.
Saying that the law "dictates which bathrooms transgender people are permitted to use," the statement noted,"The law also attacks the rights of LGBT citizens to sue when their human rights are violated in the workplace. No other group of North Carolinians faces such a burden."

"To my mind, it’s an attempt by people who cannot stand the progress our country has made in recognizing the human rights of all of our citizens to overturn that progress," the 66-year-old musician continued. "Right now, there are many groups, businesses, and individuals in North Carolina working to oppose and overcome these negative developments."
"Taking all of this into account, I feel that this is a time for me and the band to show solidarity for those freedom fighters," he added. "As a result, and with deepest apologies to our dedicated fans in Greensboro, we have canceled our show scheduled for Sunday, April 10th."

Bruce couldn’t care less about any of the “little people’s problems” on either side of the equation. Bruce, in addition to liberal politicians and other Nazis, likes this argument for political purposes only. Bruce probably has a private bathroom for gigs the size of most people’s houses.
They simply like having a reason to call political opposition some kind of “ist” to make them look all mean and miserable. Their political ideas are mostly failures, so they have to resort to defending deviants. Since many refuse to support all of this filth the libs are spewing, they get free reign classifying us as “mean” to whip up votes this fall since the media falls lock-step with them.
I can almost promise you that if every tranny or homosexual in the country supported Conservatism, even with the snarky comments we make here on FR, libs would still use them for a time for political division, then start to call them queens and fags again once they find another victim class to exploit (probably illegal immigrants).
That’s what’s *really* sickening about this whole ordeal from a political perspective. From a social perspective, it’s just plain wrong to do what the trannies are trying to do.

First I ever heard of him was on a Newsweek or Time cover back in the late 70s or early 80s. I knew so many more artists far more worthy than this spoiled brat and his connections.
Asheville is full of weirdos and not all of them are old hippies. I’ve also read that it has one of the largest witch populations in the country. When I was there it gave me the creeps and that was way before I found out about the witches.
