Gee, the pundits can’t understand why no matter how much they lecture and insult Trump supporters, they just won’t get behind Cruz.

Cruz has been in Congress for a while now. What bills has he introduced to restore the Constitution?

Besides many other issues I have with the man, anyone who waves off the NBC argument, while supposedly being a “Constitutional Scholar”, can suck eggs.

On day one of a Ted Cruz presidency, you and I will begin to feel the exhilaration that liberty brings as it is unleashed from the shackles of oppressive government. And you, your family and America will be great again.

I read that paragraph several times and I’m still laughing. A Ted Cruz administration will be filled with Old Man Bush and W’s cronies. In essence Bush Dynasty, Part III. Lay off the sauce Miss Hagelin before you write your next column.

Dear Rebecca , Unfortunately, at this late date you are not going to change people’s minds. You had a chance in November and December.

He is pure evil

Please. Satan is pure evil. Hillary Clinton comes close; she would be even worse than an Obama third term, which is saying something.

Ted Cruz would be a damn sight better than ANYTHING that comes out of the Democrat party. If you don't want to support him, don't, but remember who the enemy is, and it isn't the choice of many of your fellow FReepers.

That sentiment always makes me laugh as Trump does worse than Cruz against Hillary/ Bernie in virtually every poll.

But he won't be the nominee and even IF he was, he can't beat the Dem nominee, whoever it will be.

Add to the above, Ted's tax plan ( 10% income tax is far too low, which was proved many years ago, and it isn't even Cruz's plan! ) and the VAT on top of that, means that we would pay MORE taxes than we do now.

I'm simply not going to cast a vote for a man who wants my party's convention to be a Soviet style Politburo, where the will of the voters is ignored, and establishment loyalists are installed.

Smoke on that pipe while you play your delegate games, Lyin Ted.

Lots of words with lots of kudos for Cruz.

But Cruzbots cut through the words, the true and exaggerated kudos.

Trumphaters cut through the gaffes, the clumsiness, the street fighting persona.

Ask yourselves. Is it conservative; is it good for you and children and your children’s children for the President to increase immigration; to help pass trade deals and fast track legislation which will give away American sovereignty? Is it good to elect someone already beholden to the corporations and the political establishment who are helping each other at the expense of the American people?

Cut though the words. Make it simple. Cruz will do those things according to his past acts and rhetoric, which has only recently changed. Trump will not do those things. There is no evidence he will. There is hope, but not certainty that he will stop such destructive policies.

Trump is you, your children and your children’s children and America’s only hope.

All conservative pundits and congress critters grandstand and pound
their chest. But nothing actually gets passed.

Time for something different.

Vote Trump. We may not get all we want but some is better than none.

And none is what we have been getting for decades.
