Yes, looking on the positives make it less hurtful. Added to that the horse is alive- even worse would have been if it had to be put down. I have my envelope addressed already for a donation via snail mail.

Oh, beside the point I know, but up here in snowy Ontario, Saturday. I spied a little lost Yorkie Terrier. It was running aimlessly. I called the local humane society and a cheerful employee collected it. About three people all fired up to adopt it. Nobody seems to own it. They say it has a bladder infection and will keep it for another seven days.
