No amount of logic, no pointing out of obvious truths, no reminding of past positions, will sway them from their support of Trump. There is always an excuse, always a justification, always a reason why Trump's behavior is to be praised while even the allegation of similar behavior on behalf of Cruz is to be condemned.
As they saying goes; you can't reason someone out of a position that they did not arrive at with reason in the first place.

Wow, a dumb Rush caller has really changed my mind. As a low information voter, I guess I could probably overlook Cruz having the backing of the GOPe, Bush endorsements, Bush staff members, hundreds of millions in super PAC donations, Cruz blaming Trump for leftist BLM mobs, Cruz blaming terrorist attacks on Trump’s NATO comments, and the Cruz campaign plan to “patrol and secure” Christian neighborhoods.

Rush and you do exactly what he always says the left does. Assume that we’re idiots and we don’t know why we think what we think. We aren’t reasoned and our positions haven’t been thought through. I know why Cruz is a phony to me and i can explain it and have explained in thoroughly (If you care to know you can go over my comments). I’ve listened to Rush for years and now he tells me that I can’t come to reasoned decisions that differ from his own? Well, I’m sure if Cruz gets the nomination he’ll want people LIKE me to support him. I never will

I don’t support Cruz because he lied about not knowing he had Canadian citizenship.
That said, it doesn’t matter anymore. He lost. It’s impossible for him to win the delegates he needs.
The adverisers for the eib are asking wtf? Rush has alienated 49% of his audience. Time to put rush in the retirement home.
Not picking sides, but Cruz has a slim to no chance of winning the nomination. Slim is headed for the door.
All the arguing serves but one purpose and her name is Hillary.

Limbaugh is a conundrum. At one point his statements are cohesive and consistent. Then he finds his perfect patsy to make irrational judgements on a whole lotta folks. Such is the conundrum.
Conclusion: Take everything he says with a grain of salt, he is entertainment only. And sometimes, not so much.
In the end, we will see who prevails, and as all talk show host agree, they will keep working, either to praise or vilify the winner. Eventually it will be easier to change channels.
