On a historical note. The founding fathers, at least the anti-federalist, considered Brutus a good guy for killing Cesar and preserving the Republic and published under Brutus (most likely Robert Yates) as a pen name.

ANY day can be pivotal in the course of a nation, state, or ones daily life. It is like knowing the exact day and moment to the second when you finally expire.

For living sentient things it is logically impossible to know as that would require you still being able to remember when you are dead. You could remember dying, but not becoming completely dead.
