Trump handled it extremely well and turned it into a positive.

Trump was about to duck and hit the ground. Not attack anything.
Not that that is the wrong thing to do. Even Reagan told Nancy that he forgot to duck when attacked.
But no, Donald is not going to do some wrestling move at his age, he would do just like every other candidate would do if attacked, get down on the ground and make themselves as small a target as possible.
Thankfully, I guess we'll never know who's right.

So when Reagan explained to his wife that he forgot to duck, he was not being a leader? Leaders understand that people don't like them, some even want to kill them. That protocol is not that they make themselves as big a target as possible, but to do the opposite of that, get down and let others trained to protect him do their job. Making yourself as small/low a target as possible helps them do their job.
I want a smart leader that understand the very basics of self survival. Don't you?

I can’t see that in the RSBN video, at 1:45:45 he turns abruptly to the right as he senses a threat toward the right rear of the stage and 1 second later the SS man comes up and gets between Trump and that area. But I think you’re right as he clearly reacted to something he felt and maybe heard. The SS men responded extremely quickly, true pros.

I am just saying, after watching the video several times that Trump’s instinct was to turn toward the threat, not to drop to the ground. Maybe that is what the security professionals would advise, I don’t know. But I do know the instinctive reactions of a leader when I see them.

If the SS isn’t gonna do more to protect him his supporters need to form a ring before the SS and not let anyone through.

Ultimately that is what will happen. The stage will be cordoned off and a space provided
between it and the attendees. Trump wants to be part of the group, his supporters, but in
today’s enviornment on a national level that is not going to be possible. It’s a shame
because Trump wants to share closeness directly with his supporters.

Donald needs a Pope-Mobile set up. I’m serious. Some sort of barrier between him and the crowd is now necessary. The leftists are out for blood.
He may need to start limiting his audiences to screened ticket holders only.
