Unless Hillary is indicted, she will be the nominee.

For the democrat party to survive this next election they must make Hillary go away. That one will be easy via the Justice Department. They also need to make Bernie Sanders go away. That will not be easy for them.

>>I can only wonder if the Dems see a giant mess ahead and don’t want to be in charge at that point... <<

Bill Clinton left office with the Internet bubble burst and the NASDAQ and NYSE in historic crash mode that ultimately cost millions of people their pensions and savings.

GWB left office in the midst of an even more dire (supposedly) financial crisis, and the Government about to spend $Trillions bailing out financial industry, which was whining about a possible repeat of the Great Depression.

Obama is leaving office with the world economy once again on the brink of collapse, starting with China and Russia.

See a pattern here?

GOPe politicians are (BELIEVE THIS!) getting their arms twisted by donors to do something to raise the price of oil & gasoline. The low price takes money out of pockets of Saudi, Russia, even ISIS . . . and puts $$$ directly into the pockets of working class Americans, but this is irrelevant. They also have statistics (aka DAMN LIES) to argue for TPP, claiming everything is fine-and-dandy with American manufacturing. Those who are puppets of the globalists will FIGHT TO PROTECT CHINESE MANUFACTURING, MEXICAN MANUFACTURING etc. against American tariffs.

America needs a true turn-around artist that is willing to let someone else besides middle-class, working Americans, the people who actually operate businesses or drive to work, take the fall. Actually, to a businessman, there is often great opportunity to be found in crisis, if one has the vision to steer through it better than the competitors.

A great step forward is for the leader of the nation to understand we live in a competitive world, and that his/her job is to kick ass (business-wise and commercially as first choices) on behalf of Americans.

Good deal — EXCEPT FOR ONE THING. Given the disarray of the Democrats, why do we want to waste a very possibly GOP presidential victory on Donald Trump? I’ve gotten a big kick out of the Trump supporters on this website. Trump has been a Democrat for much of his life, a supporter of abortion for 60 years, a supporter of TARP, a supporter of the Obama stimulus, a supporter of health care like Canada and Scotland (socialized medicine), a supporter of the Kelo decision. I’m supporting Cruz for all of these reasons. Many Americans don’t want a serial adulterer, strip club owner and potty-mouth person to be their president. I couldn’t imagine a worse November than a Trump-Sanders race, wit the third option being telling both of them to jump in the lake.

Then it’s like ‘72 with feisty American party, George Wallace, Hitlery sends goons to smoke him and a suspect GOP candidate beats a McGovern-like screwball like a drum.

The Democratic Party’s tight network of interest groups are unlikely to permit that to happen. Instead, deals will get brokered that knit the party back together and end the convention with a show of unity. The media will play along, of course, by ignoring any lingering divisions and hard feelings. Nevertheless, such arrangements will not produce genuine, Obama-like enthusiasm for the eventual Democratic nominee.

I read where a whole passel of Bernie supporters will Never support the evil woman from hell.
Have to think all 11 Bush supporters will refuse to vote for Trump too.

Not quite that simple - many will do what they do and back her all the way even if they’re pi$$ed. How many might be modified by who our nominee is.

Because Cruz is incompetent when it comes to the economy. Cruz was a supporter of tpa and tpp, increasing h1bs,going back to the gold standard, ane killing the export bank.
Cruz and many of his supporters have a dishonest streak a mile wide like many of the things you just said about trump. Trump may not be perfect but he does understand the economy, has experience managing large organizations, negotiating, dealing with governments including foriegn and he is far more believable than Cruz.

"Things are shaping up nicely for a GOP victory."

Never underestimate the ability of the GOP to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Before all is said and done, we could very well end up with a brokered convention of our own resulting in Jeb as the nominee with Boehner as his running mate.

I’m surprised that a challenge has not been lodged against Sanders for not having been a Democrat. Maybe at the convention if needed.

Unless Hillary is indicted, she will be the nominee.

With all those superdelegates even if she is indicted she will be the nominee.

I tell you what all hardcore lefties are for Sanders. If he gets the popular vote and Hillary gets the nomination no dems are going to make much of an effort to vote for her.

Sanders will win the popular vote by a landslide.
Hillary gets indicted.
But she still gets the nomination.

The super delegate thing really confuses me.

It’s very simple. Let the peeple think they have the vote, but if they vote wrong, those in charge decide.

And a complicit media will just go LALALALALALALALA

While Hillary thanks to Obama will likely avoid being indicted for her email and influence peddling, but the FBI report will get leaked. The media will ignore the story, but it will further erode her support. Hillary is a very weak candidate

All it is is redistribution of electoral wealth to achieve equality. It’s what they want.
