In spite of fears to the contary. I thought Lady Gaga not only looked respecable, but she sang the National Anthem with respect.
But the announcer said.. Here to perform the National Anthem: Lady GaGa.. GaGa. I’m surprised she was dressed.
She seems to be maturing.
Seems like the half time show was toned down a bit this time.
Other people saw lots of queer references. I saw only about 30 seconds of it so can’t say.
But is s/he the kind of person who would go out the next day and do something just as weird and depraved as this was respectable and conventional? I just can't enjoy such a contrived and artificial performance, if so. Other folks can rave all they want about the audio proper but the source would always weigh on me. Besides, I hear a weird accent.
I am happily surprised. I started a thread when I heard she was singing the anthem. I said it was another NFL shark jump. Glad to hear I was wrong.
I do know that even kindergarten girls at my school seem to know pole dancing moves & it is a very depressing thing.
Truly disturbing. Last year at a Dallas Stars hockey game, they had a dance team of young girls “dancing” with the Ice Girls. I was horrified at the “dance”. Grinds, spread leg squats and pelvic thrusts by 9-11 year old girls IS NOT dancing.
Gaga surprised me and did very well.

Wish I could say I was shocked, I’m not. Sadly I’m now used to much younger girls doing the exact same thing.

Lady Gaga was recently diagnosed with positive borderline lupus. Her aunt, who died at age 19, and whom Gaga still idolizes, died of lupus. What irony that she might be afflicted with the same disease. I’m sure her diagnosis has affected her attitude towards life and how fleeting it can be. She sang the anthem beautifully. Her fiance is Taylor Kinney, one of the hunk firemen on the TV series “Chicago Fire”. He supposedly is the exact opposite of Lady Gaga, quiet, manly, and reserved. The odd couple.
Whoever paid for the lessons should be seeking a refund...if it’s not too late.

The Classical Opera training come through in her excellent diction. The voice is as good as any out there today.
That is because that is what we expected on that day. Poor Whitney deserved a better and longer life.
Lady could pay it back herself, she's worth over $100 million.

The DH just fast-forwards the half-time stuff. It sounded as though he watched some of the commercials, though.
