If she had killed someone the headline would read “Berkeley Woman Stabs Partner” or the like.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

A Saudi woman has used her expertise in chemistry I imagine they will stone her.

That’s pretty amazing. Inflammation is thought to be a huge contributor to numerous health issues.

Because inflammation is the source of many chronic illnesses that net Big Pharma billions in prescription drug sales, color me sceptical about Pfizer developing this new approach to pain and diseases such as heart disease and cancers.

Usually, if they only say, ‘University of California,’ it means Berkeley

So a US education is valuable plus having a job in the US
Sounds like an American achievement to me

This will be useful after Saudi men are done beating their wives.

Okay, if you say so, though having worked in a good number, attended one, had a Son attend two, I always refer to them by their full name because there are quite a few of them.

Good thing she came to America, otherwise, her life would have been limited to pleasing a man, period. Hopefully she recognizes that fact.

This woman is not a Saudi, she was born in Portland, Oregon and has apparently lived her entire life in the US.

....in the United States, not in any Muslim country.
My thought exactly. If it was Saudi Arabia, either:
1. She never would have gotten her PhD or her grants
2. If she somehow managed to make the breakthrough there, one of her male colleagues would have gotten the credit.

If she would have shown the least bit of intelligence in a muslim country she would be dead

And the pic of her doesn’t look like she is keeping bees in her back yard either!
So her family is just FROM SA, I would imagine she doesn’t really want to go back to where her ancestors escaped.
