Putting down pound animals is a necessity. Unless you see some aspect of abuse, you’re really not making any point.
“Roberts told the site that she was told workers were using a .22-caliber pistol to kill the dogs, saying, ‘It’s not something that ends their life quickly.’ “
Well, I have to ask - are they shooting them in the head?
For consideration.
Dogs = humans argument.
“Three shots with the .22 and the hog just grunted. He walked back to the house and got my grandfather’s .35 Remington.”
I thought for a second the hog went and got the gun.
Hey, it’s a slow news day. :)
Is that off the top of your head or an extensive quote from a college textbook?
[[Well, I have to ask - are they shooting them in the head?]]
Nope- they shoot them in the paw first, then the elbow, then the ear, then the tail- then the heart- it’s a slow process but that’s what the instructions call for
A .22 will end an animal’s life instantly- This woman either doesn’t know what she is talking about, isn’t shooting them right, is lying, or is misinterpreting the nerve twitches after being shot as ‘signs of life’
