If Donald Trump is your drunk uncle at Thanksgiving then Ted Cruz is the charming sociopath your sister brings to Christmas. During a speech at the Rising Tide Summit in Iowa, the freshman senator from Texas whipped the crowd into a frenzy by suggesting President Barack Obama wasn't doing enough to defeat radical Islam.
Cruz thinks he can do better. "We will utterly destroy ISIS," he said. "We will carpet bomb them into oblivion. I don't know if sand can glow in the dark, but we're going to find out."
That's right, Ted Cruz just promised to nuke the Middle East if elected.

Donald Trump never threatened to use nuclear weapons against the middle east. that’s all Calgary Cruz right there. he sounds like a dumb hick trying to appeal to a bunch of other dumb hicks frankly but I’m not sure that’s all it is. He may very well be that insane; as such, we shouldn’t let him near the nuclear arsenal-not after that kind of a remark.

Well, first send several Predator drones armed with air to ground “Bunker Buster” missiles to take out both the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.
If that does not get the attention of the bully boys over at ISIS, then maybe nuke that big black rock in the desert at Mecca. Then ask them if they want some more of the same.
Defiance will be responded to by taking out Qom, turning the area into a glowing crater. Not even necessary to go nuclear, just use a cluster of spaced Massive Open Air Blast weapons detonated at about 200 feet above the target area, which should do a singularly good job of razing the entire region to pretty much rubble and dust.

really? My judgment has always been pretty good. I was against the Iraq war for instance and look how well that worked out. I’m also right about Cruz’s ineligibility. I’m also right that he has no chance of winning a general election because his support is limited to a handful of religious extremists.

In Dutch, Edmund Morris’ memoir of Reagan, the author depicts a president who remained depressed for days after watching the film. Morris speculated that the film led Reagan to pursue the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty with the Soviet Union.
The treaty called for the elimination of all mid-range nuclear missiles, defined as arms aimed at targets 300 to 3,400 miles away. It was an important step that led to the destruction of more than 2,500 nuclear weapons...
