Give me the quote where Cruz lied. To be a lie it has to be factually incorrect and he had to know it was factually incorrect.

Carson didn’t lie. He changed his mind and then blamed Cruz for noticing what Carson himself had told CNN, knowing that CNN would report it - specifically that he was not going to go to NH and SC (as is confirmed by what is on his campaign website).

To blame somebody for not being able to know you’d change your mind is sort of a PMS type action. lol

New Hampshire was twitter active last night during TRUMP’s speech.

Against Cruz, it was “watch your back with this guy, watch your ballot, and if Cruz’ lips are moving you know he’s lying.”

The whole scandal of the creepy mailer and the Cruz misinformation dirty tricks, were one big building bond fire.

Add to that the Cruz operative, Dan Gabriel, tweet that attributed the Carson lie to TRUMP!!!

TRUMP is pi$$ed, but so are his supporters, spreading the nasty deeds of Cruz, far and wide in New Hampshire, so that voters are not taken in by his creepy tactics.

I said that Cruz apologized. He did apologize. It was all over the news.

I will tune in to O’Really tonight. We can trust O’R to be honest in his investigation, I hope???

Also, that Cruz operator, Dan Gabriel, tweeted out that it was TRUMP behind it! Thankfully, a Twitter follower captured a screen shot of the Gabriel tweet, because he had immediately tried to delete, denied he tweeted it, and the girl who captured let him have it and exposed his tweet, his delete and his denial!

AWESOME! These are some of the tactics TRUMP has the ability to EXPOSE, because he is not owned by donors who fund that crap and the operatives who pull it off for the Establishment.

Who would even pay attention to this story, if not for TRUMP shining the light on it up front, and Palin on the flank.

At any rate, the whole nasty deed is abuzz in New Hampshire.

Against Cruz, last night on Twitter, it was “ watch your ballot, watch your back, and if his lips are moving you know he’s lying “.

Okay, O’Reilly tonight!!! Thank you, Louie’s mom, for the tip!!

But the way you used it suggested that he apologized about “lying”. He didn’t lie so he could not apologize about that and did not. What he apologized for was not passing on Carson’s “clarification” later in the night (change of mind about letting people know he was not going to campaign, I would say, based on his campaign schedule being totally empty).

It probably would have been too late to change anything, but yeah, he should have passed it on so he apologized for not doing so. He’s the only one who has apologized about anything. CNN hasn’t apologized and in their article about Cruz’s apology lied about what they had actually said in the on-air clip. I just gave links to that clip so you can see for yourself that they said Carson would not be going to NH or SC (as is confirmed also by his website saying there are no campaign events scheduled). The only one doing the honorable thing at this point is Cruz, and yet the “Christians” on this board are calling him a slimy liar. Not one person has been able to give me a quote where Cruz said something untrue, that he knew was untrue.

Long and short of it, Carson is not campaigning but he changed his mind about letting people know that and blamed both CNN (initially) and then Cruz for noticing what he had told CNN about not campaigning. That is not an honorable response, though I can understand his frustration if he was afraid somebody else was making his resignation speech for him before he could. He should not have spoken to CNN if he didn’t want this reported.

I don’t know whether I will vote for Cruz or Trump. My point in spending time here is to say that truth matters. It’s easy to get carried away with supporting our favorite candidate but people need to get a grip and find out the facts before spreading slander. When ya got bad facts ya get bad results, and we desperately need honest, good results.

He had to apologize for it so he knew it was a lie. If he didn’t before he let his camp spread it, then he’s too incompetent to check things out or pick good people to work for him.

Most likely bet on that tweet: Gabriel did speak to Carson’s NH staff which had just quit Carson’s campaign the day before, to join Cruz’s campaign - probably because Carson let them know he was going to announce his resignation this week and they wanted their effort to not be wasted (they said in their resignation statement that they wanted their efforts to go to someone who could win). I suspect that these former Carson staffers told Cruz’s people what Carson had told them and Gabriel tweeted that Carson’s NH people had confirmed that he was getting out of the race.

Cruz’s staff probably mentioned to their internal people an upcoming Carson “big announcement” based on that.

But then Carson changed his mind about letting the public know he was not going to campaign in NH or SC (which, as CNN said, everybody knows is the action of somebody who is about to quit). I think Carson wanted to find out how the IA vote would come out if people still thought he was in it. So he said he was just going to FL to get some new clothes and rest. He STILL doesn’t have any campaign events scheduled for anywhere.

And then he blamed Cruz for noticing what CNN had reported, which they had gotten from Carson himself.

And here we are. Everybody calling Cruz a lying snake and Trump saying the results are skewed because of a news report whose factual claims are still easily seen as true, based on Carson’s own campaign website.

What faulty reasoning. He never apologized for sharing what the CNN report said. The CNN report was accurate in its facts (he was not going to go to NH or SC) but Carson corrected their speculation that staying away from NH or SC is the actions of somebody about to quit, as everybody knows.

He apologized that he didn’t update his people about Carson saying he wasn’t stopping his campaigning when Carson made that known later that evening.

So what campaigning has Carson been doing this week? Aside from saying Cruz’s apology is not good enough.

Great. Cruz cites a CNN news report and now the whole swarm of Trump supporters is speaking putridity against Cruz.

I am beginning to think ill of both Carson and Trump, and to suspect that Trump is putting Carson up to this.

I hate politics. It makes vermin out of people who are normally somewhat decent. God help us all! The fallen human nature is ugly, ugly, ugly.

I have defended all 3 of these guys - Trump, Cruz, and Carson. But right now - fueled by the shouts of “Crucify him!” by their backers - they are all doing stupid stuff.

At this point Cruz is the only one who has apologized for his part in any of this. CNN has not apologized and has in fact, lied about their initial report in order to turn blame on Cruz. And Carson’s team is refusing to accept Cruz’s apology - demanding retribution.

Seems like the story is that Carson originally let CNN know he wouldn’t be campaigning but then when CNN interpreted it to mean he would soon announce his resignation (which he probably was planning, as per his NH crew’s statement upon quitting) he changed his mind about letting people know so soon instead of finding out when he made his announcement. So he said he’s still going to campaign (even though his campaign website shows otherwise and he has no NH staff any more) and blamed the whole thing on CNN initially but then found he might get some leverage of some other kind from blaming Cruz.

Why is he sticking with it? I’m really, really wondering that now. Carson has been a good man. Why would he refuse Cruz’s apology, especially when he knows what he told CNN? It’s not like him. There’s something else going on.

I know you’re a great researcher, so thanks very much, but I think the damage was done with Congressman King’s Tweet. It’s always best to check directly with Dr. Carson or his campaign.

King’s tweets weren’t until after 7pm. Could be that his tweets were how people found out about this, since the emails the Cruz campaign sent out were between the CNN on-air report at 6:45 and 7pm. People at the caucuses might not have seen their emails but might have seen King’s tweets.

The news report stated the truth - that Carson was not going to NH or SC, as shows on Carson’s campaign site with no upcoming events at all. King was not cherrypicking anything, unless he saw a tweet by Carson’s people saying he would still campaign (which at this point doesn’t seem to be true).

Fingers crossed regarding BOR and his investigation. He was thoroughly disgusted last night while speaking to Dr. Carson which is the reason he promised Carson he would conduct his own investigation and air his findings tonight.

Thank you from my heart for telling me about Twitter last night and that horrid Dan Gabriel! Colossal nerve on his part to launch a totally unfounded accusation against Donald Trump!

I hope the girl who captured Gabriel’s Tweet retweeted it to Donald Trump?

Look, there were 3 Tweets. King cherry picked 1 of 3 and that lit up the firestorm on Twitter.

I’m tired of discussing this issue.

I have no power over the outcome.

I think Iowa is OVER, thank God.

I’m waiting for BOR’s report.

I have not called Cruz a slimy liar or any kind of liar to my recollection. I do think, however, that a person who apologizes should try to make right what he has apologized for.

Oh, please. Apologies are always acceptable and accepted.

NOW, what about the accountability with consequences?

Cruz is a political hack. TRUMP is pointing it out, or else the media would have ignored it because Carson is not a front runner.

Shining the light on corruption used to be appreciated, but look at the litany of parrots here saying, “no harm, no foul”. That is group think approval for political harm.

Who are we anymore? BS. There is no excuse, and we say we are voting for our high minded principles. LOL!

So Cruz should report to his people that Carson has changed his mind?

You know very well CNN did NOT say the words “suspended his campaign”. They said they thought it odd he had left the state.

Where was the confirmation? Isn’t Cruz the smartest boy in the room? Where was his confirmation? It’s not like his operators didn’t know Carson’s number.

Political thuggery gets approval at FR. Unbelievable.

TRUMP 2016

Nope. He should report that there could have been irregularities in vote totals.

Ideally, they could have all those votes restored, but I cannot think of a way to do that.
