Denver Police Chief Robert White said at an evening news conference that four people were shot and one person was stabbed at the motorcycle expo.
White said that no arrest have been made, but a person of interest in connection with the incident is being questioned.
According to NBC News, law enforcement sources say the fight happened between the Mongols and Iron Order biker gangs and it sparked the shooting incident.
Two people from each gang are said to be in grave condition, NBC News reported.
White said that they 'strongly suspect there's more than one shooter.'
Authorities are investigating whether other law enforcement officers from outside of Denver were involved. Several off duty officers were at the expo prior to the shooting.
The event did not have a security screening.
White explained that they did not close the event after the fight because there was a heavy police presence and the event was nearing it's closing time.

NO, however we do have officers of the law spread throughout our club. We do not run as an LEMC. We run like an MC from the 50's and early 60's when motorcycle clubs were clubs. BTW, since when are law enforcement the bad guys? Only criminals believe law enforcement to be the bad guys so if you want to socialize with criminals or if you are a criminal don't come around us. That's pretty simple.

This latest fight also does not surprise me, as more and more the cops and the criminals really resemble each other.
Cops have garish tattoos, their off-duty garb is the same and they listen to the same music.
Rapid use of force is COOL, and if you have any objection then your are simply a cop hater, “You have crossed us”.
Dogs get shot, veterans get roughed up, families suffer home-invasions.
The cops say, “Don’t paint us all with one broad brush” but to these SAME people, “There are civilians I have arrested, and then the ones I have not yet arrested”.
It’s hypocrisy.
Or BMWs?
As I recall, the policeman that was part of that gang was working undercover and could’t blow his cover.
That was just the first EXCUSE they made.
And yeah, it did SOUND plausible.
Because, as we saw in Waco, both the bikers and the cops can be violent gangs.
Those cops were ubdercover. They did not want to blow their cover which is not a valid reason to not do anything.

Denver cancels second day of motorcycle expo after shooting kills one
Members of two rival motorcycle clubs *****one largely made up of police officers***** are blaming each other for a fight Saturday that left one man dead and seven others shot or stabbed.
No arrests have been made, police said Sunday, and the seven injured at the Colorado Motorcycle Expo remain hospitalized.
Stephen Stubbs, an attorney for the Mongols Motorcycle Club, says members of the Iron Order Motorcycle Club taunted Mongols into an argument and then escalated the violence that led to the fatal shooting of a Mongols member.
Many of those in the Iron Order are police officers, military members and other law enforcement officers.
I’ve wondered about Iron Order. I’ve seen a member around here often. I think I spooked him after riding behind him several days in a row. It wasn’t intentional, our schedules apparently just ran at the same time.

Mongols are brutal. In 2010 I was driving with my parents eastbound on the Pomona Freeway 60 in Puente Hills on a Sunday afternoon. We were cruising in the number two lane from the left and a stream of fifty Mongols cruised past us on our left in the number one lane. My father felt at home since his father had the Harley shop in Spokane for 45 years. The Mongols just frowned, drove by, never waved and gave us the look of death. Brutal punks who think Easy Rider was more than just a movie. There but the grace of God...
There was an off duty undercover cop in the NYC assault, who was convicted on charges relating to the assault.
Maybe if they get enough convictions on this fracas, Stubbs will consider them.
