INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Hundreds of Hoosiers pigged out in downtown Indianapolis for a good cause Saturday.
The Crane Bay Event Center just blocks from Lucas Oil Stadium hosted the second annual Bacon Fest.
Bacon lovers sampled cured pork creations from more than 20 vendors.
Novelties included bacon-wrapped bacon and donuts with bacon and Nutella.
VIPig tickets were sold for early entrance to the event.
A portion of the money raised at the Bacon Fest was donated to Gleanor’s Food Bank to help feed the needy.
I hope they sent invitations to every mosque within 100 miles

Actually, bacon is heart attack food. If you fry it in butter, double heart attack. Not telling anyone what to eat, but not healthy. Better you use turkey bacon than pig bacon. Also if you fry the bacon, the burnt black parts give you cancer. Just f.y.i..
Bacon will raise your cholesterol levels, increasing your risk of heart disease and stroke. But that isn’t the real problem with bacon. The problem is cancer.
Bacon is a processed meat group, no amount is good of this group, bacon is the worst and will give you prostate cancer. It is the nitrates and the carcinogenic PAH (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) compounds of bacon. Eat a lot, die of cancer.
Better you smoke two cigarettes every day than two slices of bacon. Bacon long term as a habit means death before your time.

I made four pizza stone pizzas for dinner today. Three out of four had bacon on them :)
