Seems like the technology they would need to possess people, or know secrets about someone’s past, or move things without touching them and everything else exorcists generally report couldn’t be done at whatever the current level of technology happens to be. Because we don’t have that technology yet.

If you read the account of an event in Daniel chpt 5, of a hand appearing and writing on a wall at Palace Party central in Babylon, the body to which the hand was connected was in a different spacetime coordinate system than the wall. The being reached from one system into the one of the Palace. Now it is easy to dismiss that scene as merely a miraculous event or it never happened. But the underlying data points have interested me for more than four decades. There is a reality no further away from us than the length of a man’s arm, yet we are completely unsensing of it. In recent Physics development it has been observed that certain crystal growths appear to interact with a different coordinate system in order to maintain the order they build.

I think space/time manipulation isn’t ridiculous when speculating about angels and demons. But that doesn’t mean they rely on technology. But if it was some sort of technological application that transcended time and space, why would they be stuck using levers or rocket exhaust plumes on their abduction capers if that would make people think they aren’t really aliens?!!

I did not say anything transcended space and time/ What happened in Palace Party Central was not a transcending of space and time, it was an intersection of two different coordinate systems.

Here's a thing to consider: if you were able to literally come and go netween two different coordinate systems of spacetime, at will, how would common folks understand that? ... It has been going on for millennia and the past result was interpreted by the humans involved as 'meeting the gods'. It would be a good thing to not have technology too far in advance of the humans you are interacting with. Does that make sense to you?

God does miracles; Angels use technologu.

“What happened in Palace Party Central was not a transcending of space and time, it was an intersection of two different coordinate systems.”

Yeah, OK then.

“Does that make sense to you?”

If it means technologically advance aliens are putting levers and rocket exhaust on their ships when they are trying to make us believe aliens exists by their weirdly shadowy abduction exploits, then no.

If the idea is for demons to really convince people there are actual aliens, to make them stop believing in God (which never made sense to me) or whatever weird reason they are hypothetically doing it by unrecorded abduction stories, seems to me they wouldn’t let the cat out of the bag by something stupid.

I don't think there is any real risk of that... how many people actually believe in UFO's and aliens? How many believe in demons?

Most are going to chalk this up as the person being delusional, and even if they were believed, they will just think it's a detail they may have erroneously remembered.

Really don't think demons are worried about it or care about details like that. They got to torment someone and that's that.

A vast majority of humans on the planet believe in demons of some form or another. I have to think a minority of those who believe in alien abductions think it is really demons, though. I mean it’s pretty far out there, at least in my opinion. I’ve only come across it here or other internet type places.

I’m thinking demons would have a reason to pretend they are aliens when they torment someone, in this hypothetical situation.

There is some anecdotal evidence that invoking the name of Jesus for protection stops an abduction.
