It would be a PIA, but have every DHS employee check in, and verify possession of all government articles prior to ending of shift, or on a daily basis regardless. It can be done.
Shouldn’t be necessary IF said employees were being properly screened prior to employment, but screening seems to be a weakness in our Democrat run government.

And to think these clowns are “supposedly” protecting our nation and they can’t even protect their IDs, guns and badges.
So does this mean if a fake agent comes to my house I can pull a “Biden” on them and still be in the clear?
But, if they really were defending the USA; each person who is issued a badge and a gun .. would also be issued a warning they would be required to sign; which states: If I lose my badge or my weapon, I WILL PAY TO HAVE THEM REPLACED AT A COST OF $_______.
Most likely, that would stop the majority of the losses. But, being DemocRATS, they don’t think of that because it’s not their money .. IT’S OURS .. and they don’t care if they spend it.
That means one thing only — the Kenyan is accomplishing his purpose and this country is going to get hit so hard it will be incomprehensible. And all the people in charge just hold their hands and look at each other.
To put a positive spin on it, maybe the RESISTANCE is getting those weapons, badges and phones from DHS.
